You can gain skills, tools, insight and knowledge to make your idea happen … if you’re willing to move quickly.
Why take a chance and zoom off to Bali in October for three weeks? Because seizing opportunities are how many bright futures begin.
Why is this important to you? Because the CHANGE SCHOOL’s vision aims to create a physical and intellectual space tailored to individuals in transition to align their passion with purpose for maximum impact. It’s about action on new horizons, not blah-blah strategy or theory.
One of the best parts, to my mind, is you’ll emerge with a network diverse in age and nationalities with a road map for your venture.
Start a business, leave a job, or change career course – those are some of the biggest decisions you’ll make in life. In this program you can take advantage of an opportunity to heap on expert advice before taking the plunge.
But expect more than just listening.
This multi-disciplinary program aims for behavioral change in a three-step process:
Break Down – During the first week, we take you through a process of deconstruction to reconfigure your mindset and create the ideal space for the journey ahead.
Break Through – In week two, you will be immersed in a variety of workshops, skill sharing sessions, mentorship and inspirational talks to further develop yourself and your venture.
Take Action – In your final week, we reconstruct. Using the tools and skills you’ve learnt, we help you distill your next steps and design a personal action plan.
Target Audience and Outcomes
The experience is designed for direction seekers, corporate drop-outs, new and current entrepreneurs.
To be honest the ideal candidate sounds like many people I know – successful but yearning for more.
Change Venture.es seeks:
- A motivated and purpose driven individual
- Creative thinker and tinkerer
- Desire to be an agent of change
- Ready to commit to making a change in your life
Unfortunately, many individuals will talk themselves out of taking action to make this happen for one reason or another. But if you’re sick of being stuck (and whining about it) or not in charge of your life, inch up into high readiness and investigate in this program.
You could use the sabbatical offered by your organization or be ready to negotiate one next week, then be on your way to truly making a change.
Outcomes you can expect:
- New perspectives
- Learn different theoretical approaches and strategies for starting up, including tools, resources and frameworks
- Clear design, direction and focus of yourself and your venture
- Leave with a concrete action plan
- Supportive peer-to-peer network and community from various backgrounds both during and after the program
- Better understanding of yourself within a greater context
- Greater cultural fluency, skills and knowledge to further develop you as Global Citizens
- Fun group workout classes and yoga (2 – 3 x a week)
- Get healthier and create better routines for productivity and creativity!
- A lifetime experience
- Make an impact
Will a TED Talk Do?
No, a TED Talk won’t do. Most of us are immune to the once-motivational-charm of these videos.
There’s no substitute for interaction with people wiser than us – in a small group or one-on-one. This program (12-14 participants) offers both.
Speakers and mentors have impressive credentials. One person I’d love to be in the same room with is Jeffrey Paine.
Paine created The Founder Institute, the world’s largest entrepreneur training and start-up launch program and has helped aspiring founders across the globe build enduring technology companies. Based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 33 countries, the Founder Institute has helped launch over 1,129 companies in 5 years. The company’s mission is to “Globalize Silicon Valley” and build sustainable start-up ecosystems that will create one million new jobs worldwide.
Other speakers and mentors include Liz Hammer, Tara Hirebet, Joseph De Wolk and Richard Korff.
The program offers an early bird discount through the end of July.
Queen Room USD $4,000 per person
Twin Room USD $2,950 per person
In comparison, The TED Global Conference in Rio this October for one week runs $6000 (accommodations not included).
An extraordinary sabbatical is an experience that provides professional and personal growth. Bali offers show-stopping natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage.
The program, the experience, the place – this might be your chance to change the direction for how you are living life.
